Go There
Fort Pierce Inlet State Park is four miles east of downtown Fort Pierce on North Hutchinson Island. From US-1, take the North Causeway (SR A1A) east, then follow signs to Shorewinds Drive and the park gate.
Open 8 a.m. to sunset, every day. Entrance is $6 per vehicle (up to eight people), $4 for a single-occupant vehicle or motorcycle, and $2 for walk-ins and bikes. Confirm current rates on the official hours page before you roll.
The lot is inside the gate. On a pumping weekend the park can hit capacity and hold cars at the booth until a space opens. That is the park manager’s published warning — leave extra time or go midweek.
- Do not confuse this gate with South Jetty Park on Seaway Drive. That is the other side of the inlet.
- Ranger station: 772-468-3985.
- Pets only in designated areas, 6-foot leash.
